He said that it was a change, while his wife, Gretta, thinks that he's pretty flexible and resilient the way he goes back and forth from a soldier to a civilian.

He went to Afghanistan and Iraq; Afghanistan in 2003 and Iraq in 2004. He is resilient because he has taken a very dangerous chance that could have cost him his life.
